Civil Rights VR Museum is Now Available with I²:Immersive Institute powered by Lobaki 🏛️

Updated: Feb 9, 2022

Lobaki is thrilled to announce the launch of the Civil Rights VR Museum now available in the Immersive Institute. Experience the compelling and powerful stories of prominent leaders from the civil rights movement, including Rosa Parks, John Lewis, Martin Luther King, Jr., Thurgood Marshall, and Medgar Evers. These monumental figures of history come to life on our interactive stages as you gain a deeper understanding of their lives and legacies as they engaged the world in necessary conversations about equality and civil rights through sit-ins, marches, and advocating for meaningful social change.

The Civil Rights VR Museum brings experiences to life with props and set pieces both small and large. Take a seat on the bench of the highest court in the land while Thurgood Marshall tells you his story of achieving the historic appointment as the first black Supreme Court Justice or feel the powerful presence of John Lewis participating in a sit-in at a segregated lunch counter.

Educators can harness the power of immersive virtual reality to facilitate class discussions, import supplemental media, or administer a quiz all within the Immersive Institute platform. Large group discussions can be held in a round-circle atrium where everyone’s voice can be heard and the host can moderate the discussion with an easy and intuitive control dashboard.

The Civil Rights VR Museum is the first of five historical museums developed for virtual reality in the Immersive Institute from Lobaki. Coming soon, you’ll be able to meet historical figures from America’s Independence Hall, learn about the history of technology, and more.
